Sorry, Jay. I did some digging around the web to get the answer, but did not have success. The closest I was able to get was the fact that he got his first song in a 1946 movie. So let's see if he was as young as 20, that would make his birth-year 1926, making him around 74 at the time of his passing??

Hi Rizwan, thnx for helping. That was i thinking 2, i guess he was about 76 yeas old. It's a shame that there's so less written about this lyricist on the web!
