This song actually has 5 singers: Hemant Kumar, Manna Dey, Mukesh, Talat Mehmood, Joginder.
It is a story of 4 friends who rent a room. But the owner only likes married couples, so 2 of them
dress as women and act as the wives of the others. And then of course, one of the guys falls in
love with one of the girls in the house (daughter of the landlord). And hence this song.
Now, I recall only 4 friends, but there are 5 singers. Don't remember the details. Maybe there
is a 5th friend who shows up and sings with the others
There is another interesting song in the film, interesting from the lyrics standpoint. It is sung by
Manna Dey, Mukesh and Hemant Kumar. Same vein as the previous song. I have uploaded it
with this post.
There is also an Asha/Lata duet which is nice "Dabe laboN se kabhi jo koi". If I remember, it
comes back to back in the film after one of the above 2 songs. No pause, just comes right after.
After all the film does have 10 songs. Unfortunately, I only have 4 of the songs (the 3 mentioned
above and a Rafi solo "Jaane kahaaN dekha hai"). Anybody have the others????

Yes indeed I missed up Talat...actually that day I was uploading all Talat songs on HF, so forgot to mention his name.......but there is a 6th singer too, for which I had asked the info

The movie's name is Biwi Aur Makan .
Really dumb movie although meant 2 be funny. Wish i hadn't seen it.
But the songs are real good especially Mohd Rafi's Jaane Kahan Dekha Hai.
