From my cassette collection - an album that was dedicated to OSHO

The music is composed by Amareesh Leib, and has Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia on the flute, Dr.L.Subramaniam on Violin, Ustad Sultan Khan on Sarangi, with Dekavi Pandit rendering the Vocals, accompanied by Sharad Kumar on Shehnai

Some lovely compositions....

Do let me know if you would like to have this album

The tracks:

1. Raso vai saha
2. Surfing the crest of the moment
3. Life Affair
4. Mahabuja
5. Sunexplosion
6. Deep and light
7. Karakorum Highway
8. Life as such

Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water.

- Albert Schweitzer

Without music life would be a mistake
- Friedrich Nietzsche

Where words fail, music speaks
- Hans Christian Anderson

Music is spiritual. The music business is not
- Van Morrison

I intended to, Sureshji. Even if you had not put this up on the post smile1.gif
I remember you mentioning earlier that you liked Amareesh Leib....

Bhavitaji,
Any chance you could post these on a third party site?

Bibhas
p.s. I am in awe of your collection, it seems to be larger than the Indian Ocean!

Bibhasji, my collection is just a drop in the Indian Ocean, and there are many more oceans we have ;-)

Thank you so very much. I am very happy today all thanks to you. I have a rather sentimental attachment with this album - it's the first gift I ever got from my wife - unfortunately, I lost the cassette to a mold that destroyed the tape and I could never find it anywhere again!

Bibhas
p.s. I have a drop or two of my own, though mostly pure classical. If you need something, please let me know.

smile1.gif Good to know you could listen to this treasured album after ages

I too have a huge collection of purely classical music - which I upload off and on on Raag Rang. I am just lazy to convert the files to 128 kbps and then upload. A lot of them are cassettes which I first convert to MP 3 (and is a time consuming activity). But I surely will let you know in case I need anything. Thank you!

Best regards
Bhavita
