Yes i grew up there, it was a nice country. I liked it, but i didn't like the climate. i was in NWFP province of Pakistan. I have been in Islamabad, R. Pindi, Karachi, and Peshawar. Islamabad is very beautiful and all rich people live there, my uncle was living there too. Karachi is too crowded, but it's a nice city . Peshawar is Pathan's land, and very respecting towards women. I moved to AB a couple of years ago.

I do like canada, but most of the ppl around the world don't know where alberta is Yes, Canada is beautiful and clean compared to other weatern countries. I couldnt go there and was able to go upto Palampur

KALIMPONG (IN WEST BENGAL)

Another beautiful place! It is a hill station between Siliguri and Gangtok.
The name, Kalimpong, has three different origins. One, it means the place where the local tribesmen gathered to organize field sports, second, it takes it’s name from the Bhutanese king’s minister’s stronghold and thirdly, it is named after Kaulim, a fibrous plant found in abundance in this region.

Had been here last year. It is known for many nurseries of different varieties of Orchids, flowering cacti (the one I bought blossomed a beautiful orange flower last July!!)

How to get there - By Road: Kalimpong is approachable by roads from Siliguri (66kms), Darjeeling (51kms) and Gangtok (79 kms;Sikkim).

Well, Cannot ever forget Aarkonam in my life......... was held up in a major mess for many many hours at that station (Many years ago, when I was in primary school ) More than anything, our train was supposed to stop there and it only did for a few secs...... mom-dad, cousin got out........ me, my grand-parents were stuck in, and the train rushed out of the station in nice speed Went a looong way ahead...... and my dad told the station master.... and then, my cousin ran to the spot, and pulled us down (no platform so long away na )

Then, we were stuck at that station for many many hrs.... as our connecting train was delayed by a loooong way All-together a very irritating exp'ce

WE could go thru many tunnels and each time you come out of a tunnel you get to see the scenic beauty of the western ghats with numerous streams and beauty of foliages of the trees growing!
