I am not a D-day monger, but the way I see it the human tinkering and tampering with Mother Nature is sure to have serious consequences.
Already we are seeing catastrophic climatic changes brought on by human avarice. Take a look at what's happening in the UK. They've been hit by the worst flood in 60 years; the RAF is faced with the responsibility of carrying out it's biggest ever peace time rescue operation in Britain. China, too is battling the fury of weather. So is Pakistan. Only Time will tell what's in store for Dubai. I wouldn't book myself an island; not yet.
