This is a request for the year and music director for this lovely sad song by Mohd Aziz from the film Uttar Pataatma. I want to u/l it too but until I learn the year, I'll refrain. I await hits bhai's reply (or anyone else who knows). bow.gif

That's the name as was on the T-series CD, but they often make mistakes, so I'm not sure at all. My own google search had turned up an Aziz filmography at imdb.com with a listing for Pramaatma (aka Parmatma) with a year of 1994, but nothing with the name I have given above. I am guessing it might be from this film, but when I searched for songs from this film, this one was not listed. So it remains a mystery. (imdb not known for their accuracy either). Also, the song sounds more mid to late 80s , but what do I know. unsure.gif The other films on this Mohd. Aziz compilation CD are from the late 80s for the most part : Amrit, Kabzaa, Mazloom, Rav Avtaar, etc.

According to a recent search of google for this song, it is now being featured on a CD called Dard Bhare Geet vol 2. Coincidentally the folks on the net are using the picture from the DVD from Eros called Dard Bhare Geet vol 2 - if anyone has this DVD (or that CD), please let me know which film it says the song is from, thank you.
The funny thing is the song is not listed on the company's website:
