aaj un geetoN ko baazaar meiN le aayaa houN aaj duukaan pe neelaam uThegaa un kaa tu ne jin geetoN pe rakhii thii muhabbat kii asaas aaj chaandi ke taraazoo meiN tulegii har cheez mere afkaar, miri shaayari mera ahsaas jo tirii zaat se mansoob the un geetoN Ko muflisii jins banaa ne pe utar aayii hai bhook tere ruKh-e-raNgeeN ke fasaanoN ke ‘evaz chaNd ash’yaay-e-zaroorat ki tamannaaii hai dekh is ‘arsaagah-e-mahnat-o-sarmaayaa meiN mere naGhme bhi mire paas nahiiN rah sakte tere jalve kisii zardaar kii meeraas sahii tere Khaake bhi mire paas nahiiN rah sakte aaj un geetoN ko baazaar meiN le aayaa houN maiN ne jo geet tire pyaar kii Khaatir likkhe Glossary: asaas = foundation afkaar = thoughts, creations zaat = personality mansoob = related muflisii = poverty jins = things ‘evaz = in exchange arsaagah-e-mahnat-o-sarmaayaa = this battlefield of labour and wealth zardaar = rich man meeraas = property - estate Khaake = sketches http://www.sahirludhianvi.com/blog/index.p...poetry/fankaar/ Now my contribution to this post I have video tape of some rare song. unqiueness of this video is that Mahendra Kapoor is singing a Sahir song with live musician and Naushad conducting. There four other songs by Mahendra Kapoor, but I haven't search who wroted them yet. When this particular song is played. They show two or three pictures of Sahir. Main Ne Jo Geet Tere Pyaar Ki Khatir Likhe - Mahendra Kapoor - Non-Film Geet - - Sahir - 5:02 - 160 kbps Now what is consensus should I put Naushad as MD. |

His anti-establishment poetry gave voice to the weak and suppressed. He was at his best, says Abidi, when it came to expressing the feelings of a woman, her dedication to and rejection by her lover. In a programme organised by the London based multi-faith organisation Roshani for Harmony, Abidi, one of the finest broadcasters of Urdu language, presents this talk in his inimitable style. if members love this than i have CD COVERT RAR/ MP3 U/L HERE, ?????
