Question, Help needed Options

My computer gets stuck sometimes, i dun know why.............i bought this computer like six months ago......it's brand new......i had free anti virus which was expired and i had to buy online again........now it asks ur mcfee is expired and buy now........i am so sick of all these problems..........sometimes it gets so slow however i have high speed...........can u plz aswer my questions?

1. what program would be the best for anti virsus+popup bolcking+firewall i can't keep buying every six months online

2. what would be the problem of gettin stuck sometimes and gettin slow?

it's brand new, it shows no virus in anti virus scanning

3. sometimes i can't get into HF, saysing server is too busy, is it something wrong with my computer is it's , indeed, very busy that can't afford other uses?

Few reasons why your computer gets slow and stuck:
1. you have spy ware on your computer(which makes your computer slow by%50)
2. your computer might be affected by some viruses(you get them from browsing some websites and downloading free songs and etc)
3. there more reasons, but for now DELETE your cookies and temp files
my suggession for you is to go to www.downloads.com and get your FREE Ad-Aware SE personal software...(when you enter www.downloads.com type Ad-aware SE in the search box and go )this software destroys all your spy ware and destroys about %99.9 of your viruses.....your internet provider should provide you some anti virus programs , which protects your system from viruses
4. you dont need to buy expensive Mcafee and etc every six month, you can get them for free mostly....you can also get your anti virus FREE software from that site www.downloads.com

** After doing all this, if you still have same problem, save all your goodies on a disk FORMAT your HD and reinstall everything, or if your computer comes with a RECOVERY disk , save all your goodies on a disk and insert the RECOVERY disk and reload the original DATA

A good package like Norton Internet Security should cater to all these

It is a year's subscription 60$ I think is the rate but should atleast let you breathe properly.

You may have to give the details of the configuration of your system.. so as to enable the techno gurus to help you out.

The server busy status of the HF server has nothing to do with your system. It happens due to the load on the server.

1.For popup blocking i think Microsoft Anti spyware (Beta ) works fine...

For antivirus go for Trend Micro (I m very satisfied with that) or Norton both offer timely updates of virus Definition file. And i dont think you have to buy them every 6 month ...

2.If your Computer is acting sluggishly the problem could be, lot of programs running at the startup.
you can customizes you startup using "msconfig" i m sure that will help.
start->run>(type)msconfig

Answer for 3rd question ..... dont worry its not your computer ..its because of the load on the HF server.

i might try some...........but, there are some things that i already have............as one of u said to delete cookies, i do every week..........the other thing, that i already have Norton Anti- Virus...........whenever i scan it shows no virus in my computer.......but i am still doubting.....maybe i should go for those free anti viruses, instead of spendin too much money , once on Norton, and now it asks about McFee .......thank u once again
