While on the subject of S.Balbir, there is another reatively rare but great song wherein Rafi Sahab and Balbir have sung in complete sync "O Beta Alfu Farmao chaca" from hindi film "Hum bhi kuch kam nahin". Today am uploading another duet of Rafi Sahab with Shamshad Begum. Moving on to Telugu songs of Mohd. Rafi Sahab This Qawaali is from Telugu Film Bhale Tammudu. This 1969 film stars Late N.T.Rama Rao, in double role. NTR, as he was popularly known, later went on to become the CM of Andhra Pradesh. All the songs in this film, interestingly are by Rafi Sahab (and P Susheela). This number from the same film "Bhale Tammudu" is the same as Yamma Yamma from the Hindi film Chinatown. I do not know whether the Telugu film was a remake or only the song was taken.
