Hello Friends,

Welcome to Meri Awaaz Suno biggrin.gif . This board has a lot of features which I hope you all would like. Since I am unable to access Yahoo! Meri Awaaz Suno, due to GOI mad.gif ban on groups.yahoo.com, I've set this up for all of us.

This particular software to create and maintain online forums is really good, attractive + functionally good. smile.gif

Thanks for creating the forum here. Besides the smileys, one major advantage is that of clearly separated threads, IMO the biggest drawback in Yahoo Groups. When threads are clearly separated, it is just so much easier to follow threads you are really interested in.

smile.gif Hi Tadatmya. Thanks for your kind words about the new forum. I know this is much better compared to yahoo. And we can all have our forums together.

If the member subscribes to the forum that he is interested in, he can even get notification via emails with the link so that way we can still keep up with what is happening @ the forums.

Yes I am placed in Bangalore. I only met Nalini two years back. These days with workloads dont get much time. I also met a colleague here who is equally facinated by Rafi's voice and the legend himself.

No Iqbal, the process that you have followed to ask this question... the same is applied for all the forums. Currently none of the forums are moderated. All are open forums.

Only thing I feel is members are only joining they are not subscribing to the forum. Hence any reply and new postings will not be notified via email and they are unaware.

This forum looks good. And as other members have mentioned, separate topics/threads for each discussion will definitely be a plus point in attracting users here and increasing the participation.
Take my example, I've hardly posted 10times on YahooMAS in the past 6months. And here, i've already made two posts in a day.

At YahooGroups, it was very hard to go through all the messages from the site, only solution was going through each message in your email.
