Wonderphul Pics Preetz..I liked the one where the deer are drinking water the best. And I understand the disappointment of not seeing a tiger in the wild. I would recommend Bandhavgarh or Kabini reserves if u wanna see them in the wild... Jagdish thanks so much its amazing that you saw the post thats almost 1 year old now makes me remember the good time i had oh and what carefree time it was!!!! i would love to go to the reserves you mentioned but this time im gonna make sure i see the tiger warnaa thik nahi hoga Hey Preetz, If u want to visit Kabini, the best time to visit is (March to May) and better plan well in advance for the trip as it is jam packed. This is the best time to spot a tiger in Kabini (3 day stay is recommended). The speciality of Kabini is that it is close to 3-4 other reserves (Bandipur, Nagarhole, Madumalai). So, during peak summer, the wildlife of all these places converges into Kabini as there are lots of water reserves. U r very likely to see atiger in the wild during this time. Also, on an average day u can see hundreds of elephants in Kabini. Crocs are also a speciality in this reserve. During this time, it is rated among the top 5 safaris in the world. About Bandhavgadh, U will certainly get to see a tiger. However, Bandhavgadh is a place where some tigers are let in certain areas where visitors can see them. It is a kind of pseudo-wild thing (as in Bannerghatta, Bangalore). But to spot one in wild, Kabini (March-May), Corbett or Kanha would be the best bet. Jagdish thank you so much for this information... i wish i had time this march to go and visit some such place... i have seen tiger in zoo and nandankanan (puri) but seeing one wild and free will be so thrilling... its no good watching one frustrated tiger in the cell
