In addition to this I have Wo Khwab Suhana Toot Gaya and Chanda Ki Nagri Se Aaja on CD :

(I think everyone has Chanda Ki Nagri Se Aaja - if not I can upload it)

I have the rest of the songs on record :

3) Aahen Tadap Rahi Hai

4) Aaj Hum Bay Aasron Ka

5) Rakh Sada Anjaam Par

6) Chanda Re Chanda

I have already digitised these - just to clean them up and I will post them tomorrow.

Absolutely no Jhankar !

I'm having trouble cleaning the files as I think the trial version of cool edit is soon to expire so it stops cleaning half way through the song !!

I will try something else. If all else fails I will upload them as is (or send to someone else who can clean them and upload )

Thanks for Chanda Re Chanda Pulkit. This version seems slightly slower than the one I have. I will upload mine too as soon as I can improve the quality.

Hello all

There was some problem in the connection yesterday so two posts of 'chanda re chanda' song appeared. Those who have downloaded the song, please tell me that which post has the whole song and I would delete the other one.

This lazy fellow has been forgiven and should no longer hold that title. I am certain that it is not down to laziness and more down to study pressures.

I will try again at downloading some different software tonight.

BTW - I donwloaded the bigger sized file and that was the complete song (I haven't download the other one)

I think the speed issue is probably more to do with the record speed. Noor Jehan's voice in the one that I have resembles her 'Main Ban Patang Ud Jao' style

The fellow is elated with joy. Thanks for being so just. You can upload the songs as they are and I would surly clean them as and when I have time. And yeps, it seems to be the speed factor, else how do we explain it. I remember that I have Noor Jehan's number 'Chitthi Zara Saiyaanji Ke Naam likh de' at three different places and they seem to be three different versions though they are the same version because of this speed factor. Similar story with Banwara Man Aise Dharka Na Tha, the CD version seems to be slow and worn out while the audio tape version is ecstatic.

Success !!! I think I managed to trick the cool edit pro software and now have fully cleaned files - let me know if you hear different.

Bear in mind I could only remove some of the noise, not all. I think some of the original recordings on the record were done at a too high volume so the sound distorts
