actually its neither. I just listened to "aanandayaatra kavitechii" P. L. reading borkar's poem and transcribed the poem.
(I have that one on cassette. I dont think it was issued in CD)

mast ahe tya kavita.
i like "japani ramalachi ratr".

tujhe vijeche chnadpakharu deepraag gaat
rachit hote shayan mahali nili chandraat

ratirat kukkutasa kundivar arohun maad
choch khupsuni fulvit hota pankhanche jhad

pudhe athavat nahi.
P L mast gaatat hi kavita.

It's too good. And as Walker pointed out, it conforms to all the rules for a ghazal.
Suresh Bhat has been known for writing ghazals in Marathi ( I was first surprised to know that there is such a thing as "Marathi ghazal" ohmy.gif )

marathi ghajal che master = Suresh Bhat smile3.gif

many of his songs sung by lata are actually ghazals only.

Omkar,

ghazal in Rutu Hirwa is apratim too.

Bhogale je du:kh tyala sukh mhanave laagale
evadhe mi bhogile ki maj hasaave laagle..

i like this stanza best-

Lok bhetayas aale kadhatya payasave
an akheri kushal majhe maj pusaave laagle.. sad1.gif
