Thanks for the warm welcome.Is forum pe main kai dinon se hoon par yahan kadam ab rakha hai. (Bahot gaane hain mere paas unke par detail kam hi hain). Daal dein to achcha hoga. Main is weekend mein aur gaane daalne ki koshish karoonga.
Aur Azra ke gaane Jaanam Aye Janam ka original cleaner version ho to batayein. Gaana bahot meetha hai. Maine jo upload kiya woh radio rip hai. Beech beech mein tootta hai aur kahin aur mila nahi.

I shall be uploading a series of CDs I downloaded from a site. It is a series of ten volumes. ( I have some old ones which I will put later). This is in CDQ so putting it first.
First volume 1 is being uploaded.

The only 30s song I see in the uploads is the 1939 Gul e Bakawali song Shala Jawaniyan. When it was released, Noor Jehan was still called Baby Noorjehan.
Excellent uploads Hildebrand Jee and pretty comprehensive. The only really good Noor Jehan pre-partition song missing that I have in my small collection is:

I checked up my disk just now. I have all the four songs in varying quality (infact probably all the four albums).
I'll do one thing. In this weekend I shall post whatever songs of these albums are available with me on my thread and give a link. You can take the ones quality you like and reject the ones you don't like. Maybe somebody else may be looking for rest of the songs. If somebody has better quality or you find ones later do please upload.

I am looking for Urdu text books for grades 1 to 12, from Pakistan.I can read Urdu fairly well but I am trying to improve my voabulary and proficiency.Please let me know of the website if they can be accessed on internet. Thanks to a relative in India,I have a set of Text books of Indian Urdu published by NCERT ( National Council for Educational Research and Training) which by the way are also available on their website.I am hoping Pakistan has a similar type of institution. If not, a set from any decent publisher would be fine. Please provide internet address if one available. Otherwise name of the publisher, phone number, and address would help.Harjinder

If you check with some Pakistani at the closest mosque to where you live, I'm sure they would be able to point out that you can purchase these books in the US. Otherwise, you can try Saeed Bookbank. I go there everytime I visit Pakistan but they are online as well:

If you can't find what you want in their catalogue, call them and tell them you are calling from the US and I'm sure they'll be able to order on request for you (and deliver). If you still have any problems e.g. Intl Delivery, send me a PM and I can work something out through family in Pakistan....

Punjab Textbook Board publishes or gets published books of all subjects for class 1 to 12
as prescribed by another Board.
