These three songs were featured in a 1986 movie called Film hi Film with music by Bappi Lahiri. An LP was issued with the songs. I've converted them from my vinyl. Two of the songs are on YouTube. The vinyl was issued by MIL and does not acknowledge the lyricists, but I've found out from another source that the Rafi solo was written by Hasrat. The sleeve also has ommitted Suman Kalyanpur's name and incorrectly put Asha BhoNsle as the other female singer with Geeta Dutt for the trio track.

Thanks for above songs. I have seen Film Hi Film and was sure 'ham khoob jaante hain...'was a Shanker Jaikishan composition. Nice to see your post confirm that. Harjinder

If you watch the opening Credits for Film Hi Film It shows which films these songs were recorded for.

Manna Dey Song was not recorded for Sajan Ki Galiyan But a film called
Bahurupiya , Lyrics is by Shailendra

Yeh Chehra Tauba Tauba & Lambi Lambi Kali Kali Zulfen both picturized on Rekha. I think they were reused in other films before being used in Film Hi Film, Hence omitted from the record.

Yeh Chehra Tauba Tauba & Lambi Lambi Kali Kali Zulfen both picturized on Rekha. I think they were reused in other films before being used in Film Hi Film, Hence omitted from the record.

Ye Chehra Tauba Tauba is from the film Duniya Ka Mela (1974). The film first had Amitabh and Rekha and this song was picturized on them. Amitabh was later replaced by Sanjay Khan and the song re-shot. Film Hi Film included the Rekha-Amitabh picturization. Both these videos are available on youtube.
