It is high time to stop worshipping of likes of Tendulkar just because of his (useless) hundreds..

A great match in the end, could have been more exciting if bad light didn't come into play, it could have gone both ways, one or two more wickets or the stoppage of runs would have put more pressure on the Pak batsman.

Tendulkar finally scored some runs but that too in a lucky manner as he was bowled by Rana off a no-ball. He still looked rugged to me, not as flowing as he usually is but I think with this knock he has gotten his confidence back and is in good nick for the upcoming matches. Pathan played well too in his pinch-hitting role although Pakistan wasn't bowling that well to him and he took full advantage of it, Dhoni also played nicely for his runs.

Good too see Butt score a century, he still needs to work on his technique but he has talent. Malik once again made a valuable contribution to the team. His batting gets overshadowed most of the time and over the past year and more he has been very valuable for Pakistan at that crucial number three position.

Pak 1 up in the series, cheers to them for chasing a big Indian target and hopefully we'll see good cricket in the rest of the games.

Yes the game was entertaining batting wise but the bowling was rubbish except Asif. The standards of indian bowling is falling by the minute.

If they cant defend this kind of total then I cant see them winning this one day series.

I was not surprsied to see Sachin cain the Pak bowling, form is temporary, class is permanent and besides Lara and Richards I have not seen anyonw one yet with the class of the little master.

A wondeful game. A few stunning catches by Pakis were the difference. esp the catches of Dhoni and Kaif amazing. Sachin was unfortunate to be given out, but it was a tough decision. Nothing to take away from the Pakistanis. However, the Indian bowlers have to take the blame for the defeat. They better watch the videos of Mohd Asif before the next game.
On flat pitches all u want to do is keep the ball stump to stump. If bowlers dont understand this, u cannot defend totals. The line and length of Indian bowlers was awry. Murali Kartik was consistently bowling outside the leg stump and conceced 3 wides in the same over. The Indians simply did not create any pressure on the pakis. Infact, I felt the paki's got themselves into some trouble with some poor shot selection and running bet's the wickets. else, it was a cakewalk for the pakis. Pak certainly are the favs to take away the series. Sorry folks, if the bowlers cant stick to the basics, neithet a great coach nor a great captain can save the day..
