I just love these folksy Sakhi songs.

The word Phulwa reminds me of another Sakhi song that used to play in most weddings during my childhood - though it doesn't belong in this sub-forum:
"Khile Hain Sakhi Aaj, Phulwa Man Ke;
Jayenge Sasural, Dulhan Ban Ke"
Sung by the sister trio of Lata-Asha-Usha in the film Grihasthi (1963).
If anyone has it, please u/l in the Lata or Asha or SKS forum.

This song 'Buja diye dil' from the film Shagoon was beautifully picturised,and in fact Waheeda Rehaman and Kamaljeet were in the lead( Years later they got married)
I feel that Khayyam has composed wonderful tunes for this film's music.All the songs are very good
