The popularity of web music searches is hardly unknown. As 2009 comes to an end, Guruji.com, a popular music search engine released a list for the 'Top Music Searches of 2009'. So what exactly is it that bollywood music lovers have been searching for?

As far as the top searched singers of the year goes, Atif Aslam and yesteryear singer Kishore Kumar took the fifth and fourth position respectively, Nausad and Geeta Dutt, the third and second, and interestingly K L Sehgal has captured the prestigious first place in this list. The above top five singers have been tracked quite often for their hits during 2009.
