A request from members for the song Phulwa ban mehke dekho behke daali daalu bhawra kare phere.. From the Movie - Hum bhi insaan hain, MD - Hemant Kumar, Lyrics - Shailendra Thanks Regards Bhavita Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water. - Albert Schweitzer Without music life would be a mistake - Friedrich Nietzsche Where words fail, music speaks - Hans Christian Anderson Music is spiritual. The music business is not - Van Morrison |

Bhavita, Here is a mp3 version Phulwa Ban Mehake-Hum Bhi Insaan Hain - 1948 3:24 Geeta Dutt 128 kbps 3.2 MB Hi NashMia The 1948 Hum Bhi Insaan Hain had music by Hari Prasanna Das, not Hemant. This lovely song is from the 1959 film of the same name (no idea if it was a remake) which had music by Hemant Kumar. I hadn't heard this song before so thanks for it and Bhavita for requesting it. Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. H. Auden |

Yes, the link you've provided is for the original Hum Bhi Insaan Hain (1948) with music by Hari Prasanna Das. The Geeta Dutt duet is from a 1959 film of the same name with music by Hemant Kumar. I don't think this Hemant album has been uploaded on HF, at least in the past 18-24 months.
