Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water.

- Albert Schweitzer

Hi NashMia

The 1948 Hum Bhi Insaan Hain had music by Hari Prasanna Das, not Hemant. This lovely song is from the 1959 film of the same name (no idea if it was a remake) which had music by Hemant Kumar. I hadn't heard this song before so thanks for it and Bhavita for requesting it.

Kind Regards
Faraaj

Yes, the link you've provided is for the original Hum Bhi Insaan Hain (1948) with music by Hari Prasanna Das. The Geeta Dutt duet is from a 1959 film of the same name with music by Hemant Kumar. I don't think this Hemant album has been uploaded on HF, at least in the past 18-24 months.

Kind Regards
Faraaj
