Actress Demi Moore, who married Ashton Kutcher in 2005, has now officially adopted her husband's surname.
She has changed her name on her driving licence and credit cards.
Contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying, "Demi did this for Ashton. She knew that this was something he wanted, so she finally made the switch."
Now, Demi will be Mrs Kutcher on her black American Express card, her passport and other official documents.
However, the actress will keep her name from her first marriage to Freddie Moore for all her professional endeavours.

GEORGE Clooney could face dangerous driving charges following his motorcycle accident. Police Sergeant Sean Kelly revealed the accident on Friday happened when Clooney tried to pass a Mazda Millenia that was attempting a right hand turn from the left lane.
Kelly says, "It's a he-said, she-said right now, but you can't pass on the right in Weehawken or anywhere in New Jersey."
Clooney suffered a rib fracture and grazes in the accident and his new girlfriend Sarah Larson, who was his passenger, had two broken toes.
George apparently still plans to attend the world premiere of his new drama Michael Clayton tonight in New York City.

Daniel Radcliffe has been named Best Actor at the inaugural National Movie Awards — billed as ‘Britain’s answer to the Oscars’.

The Harry Potter star picked up the gong on Friday night at the glitzy ceremony after beating off competition from James Bond star Daniel Craig and Pirates Of The Caribbean favourite Johnny Depp.

It was good news for his co-star Emma Watson too, she was named Best Female ahead of Keira Knightley and Dami Judi Dench, whilst Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix won Best Family Film.

Meanwhile, Radcliffe is determined to shed his cute boy wizard image once and for all. Not content with appearing nude on stage as a troubled stable-boy in Equus, he’s now auditioning to play a homosexual spy.

The actor, who is currently filming the latest Harry Potter movie, wants to play Cambridge scholar Guy Burgess, who as a 1930s boarding school boy fell in love with his friend.

“I’d never play a gay character just for the sake of it,” the 18-year-old told Daily Star, “But if the script was good and it was a good character, it wouldn’t bother me. Playing characters exploring their sexuality is a challenge.”

LONDON: Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston sells more magazines than any other celebrity, as declared by a survey conducted by Forbes magazine.

Contactmusic.com reports that magazine sales increase when Aniston's face is on the cover. The survey also revealed that Aniston appeared at least once on the covers of seven leading weekly magazines from January 2007 to June 2007.

Her face on the cover has sold almost five million copies of various magazines collectively.

It seems people can’t get enough of Jennifer Aniston and neither can popular celebrity magazines in the US.

Aniston sits atop Forbes.com’s first-ever analysis of top-selling famous faces, based on several factors, including news-stand sales of celebrity weeklies over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

The 38-year-old actress graced six covers — appearing on every magazine except In Touch Weekly at least once during the time period — with her face collectively selling more than 5 million copies.

Aniston’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, takes second place on the list, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Valerie Bertinelli and Kelly Ripa.

Britney Spears couldn’t make it to the list even though the 25-year-old pop star snagged 18 single covers during the six-month period. Britney’s face fails when it comes to sales, Forbes.com said, and she is only slightly more likable than Paris Hilton.

Consumers have grown tired of her consistently bad behaviour, In Touch Weekly editor in chief Richard Spencer is quoted as saying.

“Usually there’s a roller-coaster of emotions,” he says. “But unfortunately for Britney, there’s been no roller-coaster lately — there’s just been the downhill.”

Also missing from the list: Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson.

Forbes.com calculated the tabloid appeal of a celebrity by comparing how many issues a cover sold with the magazine’s average news-stand sales. The website then factored in the number of full covers a celeb graced, and ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.

MUMBAI: Rough estimates suggest that Rs 700 crore of foreign studio funds is floating in Bollywood right now. Walt Disney
, Sony, Warner, Fox Star and

Paramount are all headed for tinsel town. Every Hollywood studio is figuring out the best possible entry into the Indian market, trade insiders say.

The American film market has been stagnant for about eight months now, forcing Hollywood studios to scout for growth opportunities. The global meltdown, in fact, may have actually precipitated the foreign studios' entry into India, say experts.

Low investments (the dollar is much stronger than the rupee), a strong domestic film market (Bollywood is the biggest producer of movies in the world) and huge growth potential makes India a very lucrative market now, they explain.

"Their aim is to connect with the world's largest cine-going audience," Vipul Shah, who has entered into a Rs-150-crore deal with Fox-Star Studios, says.

Walt Disney Company (India) managing director Mahesh Samat reveals that the firm's plans for 2009-'10 include alliances with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies and Kamal Haasan for live action films. Disney will also collaborate with Yashraj on a second animation film.

A quick rewind shows that Warner has tied up with Nikhil Advani, Sony has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Disney has a stake in UTV and collaborations with Shah Rukh/Yashraj/Kamal Haasan; Viacom, Paramount's parent organisation has a stake in Indian Film Company (Studio 18); and Fox-Star has tied up with Shah.

"We are very serious about the Bollywood market," Fox Star Studios India CEO Vijay Singh says. "The deal with Vipul Shah will see co-development of projects rather than just green-lighting films. In an increasingly globalised scenario, this is only but natural."

Foreign studios have also been making a thorough study of the hierarchy in Bollywood, a trade insider says. Reports suggest Fox was keen to collaborate with Karan Johar prior to its signing up with Shah. Johar reportedly asked for Rs 220 crore and wasn't keen on parting with his next directorial project, My Name Is Khan, as part of the Rs-220-crore deal, say Bollywood insiders. But, as Fox Star India had set aside Rs 150 crore for its first investment, it chose to partner with Shah.

Shah adds: "It's no longer about the vanity of being attached to a foreign studio. There are very tangible benefits that both sides bring to each other. The Indian middle class is perhaps the biggest in the world; and they're also comparatively young. The preferred mode of entertainment is films and it is going to remain so for a long time to come. Bollywood's fundamentals remain very strong, making it lucrative for Hollywood studios."

Film marketing professional Vikramjit Roy says: "We live in an era where co-operation and joint ventures are natural. A tie-up with a Hollywood or some other international studio brings in scale (in terms of markets, fund flows and operations) and professional and technical expertise and this adds to the creative process here. As the market for Indian cinema continues to grow internationally, these global networks will allow Indian film producers to showcase their work outside the home market and get greater exposure for their films."

Aniston breaks silence over Brangelina affair
PTI
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 14:15 IST

LONDON: Breaking her silence over the split with ex-husband Brad Pitt for the first time, Jennifer Aniston has blamed Angelina Jolie for being 'uncool' about her affair.

"What Angelina did was very uncool... but I'm still in touch with Brad," Jennifer Aniston revealed in an interview to celebrity magazine Vogue's December issue.

Aniston said she felt Jolie was not right when she spoke about falling in love with Pitt during the shooting of a film while he was still married to her. The actress says she had no idea that her husband was falling in love with Jolie as they filmed 'Mr and Mrs Smith' in 2005.

For years, Aniston had remained tight-lipped about Angelina's role in their break-up but thirty-nine year old former 'Friends' star has now slammed Jolie in the latest interview.

Aniston said she found the truth only two years ago when Jolie gave an interview to the magazine about how her affair with Pitt began on the sets of the film.

Aniston said, "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss," Dailymail said quoting her.

Jolie and Pitt had earlier said that they fell in love only after Pitt separated from Aniston, his wife for five years.

But Aniston's relationship with her former husband has remained cordial even after the break-up.

"I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and I'm proud of him. We have exchanged a few very kind hellos and wishing you wells and sending you love and congratulations on your babies," she told Vogue.

Aniston also talked about her current relationship with singer John Mayer, ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughan.

Speaking on her divorce with Pitt, Aniston said, "Well, it never was that bad. I mean, look, it's not like divorce is something that you go, "Oooh, I can't wait to get divorced!" It doesn't feel like a tickle.

"...in the end, we really had an amicable split. It wasn't mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can't talk to Jen and Jen can't talk to Brad because this person won't allow it.

"It just didn't happen. The marriage didn't work out," she said.

After the separation both stars came to an understanding by discussing things, the actress said.

"And pretty soon after we separated, we got on and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other," Aniston revealed.

Aniston, who will be seen in the romantic film "Marley and Me", also rubbished the idea that she was unlucky in love.

"This whole "Poor lonely Jen" thing, this idea that I'm so unlucky in love? I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love."

Talking about her current boyfriend, singer John Mayer she said, "We care about each other. It's funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize, "We maybe need to do something else," but you still really, really love each other.

Aniston has also patched-up with her mother. The duo fell out when her mother Nancy talked about her in media.
