It is already there in the scanned image

Film : Bhagya Chakram
Year : 1968
Lyrics : Pingali (Pingali Nagendra Rao)
Music : Pendyala ( Pendyala Nageshwara Rao)

Oho ...O..O...O..
Oho ...O..O...O..

socha tha saath chalogi, saaye ki tarah saath nibhaogi
socha tha saath chalogi, saaye ki tarah saath nibhaogi
zindagi ko ek swarg jaisa banaogi.. yeh to socha tha
aashaon ko nirash kiya, aao na sakhi, kya aa na sakogi

zindagi tum hi ho meri, rani tum hi ho meri
zindagi tum hi ho meri, rani tum hi ho meri
pyar ke lay se mujhe apnaogi yeh samjha tha

ashaon ko niraash kiya...ao na sakhi, kya aa na sakogi ?
ao na sakhi, kya aa na sakogi ?

Erum ji..It is heartening to know that you liked this beautiful song of Ghantasala. many a times, i do feel like translating some of those eternal melodies into Hindi..but stopped with an idea that none may appreciate if i bring on local color.. smile.gif Balaji did a fine job of translation..
The song you mentioned...Shokilla pilla is from Nene Monagaanni..I dont have it, but will keep looking..Actually never heard that song too..
Hope that someone with better collection might upload it soon...

What could be the connection between Erum Hashmi and Ghantasala!!! unsure.gif

Well, just put down what I felt immediately on seeing this thread. Not that I expect an answer. smile.gif

Venkat
Actually, when going through geetkosh, I many a times came across to PAATAAL BHAIRAVI and was curious about him and then I heard this song in Ghantasala's voice and I liked it immensely, though the language is alien to me! I wonder, if he has sung any song in hindi (though I came to know, that SHOKILLA PILLA NINNE NINNE MECCUKUNTUNDI has some hindi portion by Ghantasala!)?

Erum Ji..as far as i know, there is one more song with Hindi words sung by Ghantasala...starts with Oh mere mehbooba....idar aao na.. from the film Alibaba 40 dongalu ( Alibaba chalis chor )....I dont have a decent copy of it either.. here is the link for that song...

http://chimatamusic.com/duets_ntr.php Song No. 28.

If i have to say a few words about Ghantasala...Chaste telugu never sounded better than in His voice..Even His sanskrit verses are exemplary.

Thanks, Simplefable for the link! Who is the female singer with Ghantasala in this song?
