Hari Ram and Friends,
This has been a true coincidence that this Bhajan by Vani Jairam (my upload from yesterday) was uploaded in Twins Songs thread by Anupama just on 16th August (which I came to know somehow today). I am thus removing this song from this thread. Hope for your understanding.

What I can do now is to add another beautiful song by Asha.
Singer: Asha
Song: Sawan ban gayi main (3:20, 128kbps)
Film: Karorepati (1961)
Lyrics: Hasrat Jaipuri
Music: Shankar Jaikishan

Enjoy
Sanjay

Sanjay,

Thank you for another great selection.

Kamala,

Thank you for this rare song with a middle-eastern flavor.
I am trying to get the first line of this song. I hear it as,

'hap bap, (aziza hap bap) 2, aziza yaar marhabaa, (hawwaa na rang na) 3, yaar marhabaa'

Anyone would like to help in getting the first couple of lines from this song?

Hari Ram

Hi Hari Ram and other Friends,

I am uploading here a relatively rare non-filmi 'Family Planning advertisement' song sung by Rafi Saab and Asha Bhosle for Govt. of India!

"Hum Na Sochenge Apni Bachhon Ki To Sochega Kaun, Sukh Ka Raaz Hai Bas Do Bachhe Sukh Ki Nishani Lal Trikon"---Prem Dhawan---Rafi & Asha

Try it out!

Venkat

I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Mohammed Rafi: Highest Quantity Of Greatest Quality In Mind-boggling Variety!!!
