Shishma,

Thanks for this slow version.
Sometimes, I tend to forget songs from even well known movies.
Would you enlighten us, where does this slow version appear in the movie?

It comes towards the end (10-15 mins before). When the young Rajesh Khanna comes across some Pics and letters, and realises that Sharmila is his mother.

Also, you'd made a list of songs I had to upload, could you point me to it? (I can update it with your present list and take care of whatever's left on there if any)

Once again, let me express that your list really helps me a great deal with my uploads. Thank you.

Talaikya,

Here is your tandem songs list; we would love to have them.

Tezaab (1988): ek do theen chaar (Alka Yagnik \ Amit Kumar)
Virasat(1997): payalay chhunmun chhunmun, (Chitra, Kumar S \ Chitra)
Zakhm (1998): ham yahaan tum yahaan dil jawaan (Alka Yagnik \ Kumar Sanu)

Hari Ram

I am still debating the newer songs ('cause they'd be pretty accesible), but maybe I'd make an exception this once for the Tandems. We'll see, jab tak unka turn nahin aata, here's today's pair:

Nagin 76 - Tere Sang Pyar Main Nahin Todna - Lata M, LP, Verma Malik - 3.28,128

Nagin 76 - Tere Sang Pyar Main Nahin Todna - Lata M, Mahendra K, LP, VM - 5.40,128

RKA ji,
Which song?
Also, I'd use an external file upload service as opposed to email, does that work for you?

Friends,
I saw on page 16, we are looking for Ja ja re ja Twin from Adalat.
Here is Asha version (happy). The Lata version (sad) has been added in "Lata's Simply Awesomes". Here is the link http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?show...mp;#entry382556

In Asha version, I am clear about whether she sings SAJNA or BALMA or something else. Anyway both version are excellent songs.
Singer: Asha
Song: Ja ja ja (Happy
Film: Adalat (1958)
Lyrics: Rajinder Krishan
Music: Madan Mohan

Enjoy

Sanjay,

Thanks very much for this twin set. I only had the combined version. I think you are right; in both versions it is 'SAJNA'.
I was looking for these two versions for sometime.

Hari Ram Jee,

I am having this song but in a composit manner(6 minutes, 35 Seconds) as follows.

JaJa Re Ja Sajna(SAD)-Lata-Ja Ja Re Ja Sajna(HAPPY)-Asha-Ja Ja Re Ja Sajna(SAD)-Lata-Ja Ja Re Ja Sajna(HAPPY)-Asha

To the best of my knowledge there is no separate song of Asha Ji which starts as" jaa jaa re jaa baalmaa". There may be one such version of Asha Jee which I do not know.

However I am uploading below the version which I have.

Kamala Mohanty

Kamalakanth bhai,

Thanks for uploading the duet version of this nice song.
Some time back, I had read that due to differences in mood and tempo of Lata and Asha lines, Madan Mohan had recorded this song as two separate solos. Then, in the movie (I haven't seen it), they created a duet by alternating anataras from the two solos. Therefore, I reasoned that some old music fan in this forum might have the solo versions of the song in their collection.

Hari Ram

I have updated the twin list:
