Mohd. Rafi Saab sang many songs in Punjabi, Which recently came to my attention and there is lots of information on this mentioned earlier, However I thought it would be nice to invite people to share these songs here as Rafi Saab sang such beautiful Punjabi songs with his super great unmatchable voice, Such as: Rus ke tu chali gayi kanu aini door-Jaach menu aagayi ghum kaan ki-Ae maalik iss sansaar de-Gal sun yaar pardesi, etc. Everyone please feel free to contribute. It is guessed by a few senior people that i met that Mohd Rafi sang in the region of 500 punjabi songs......many punjabi films are very rare to get hold of and many of them have hidden gems in the voice of Mohd Rafi. Mohd Rafi was something special when he sang for punjabi films.......he was so versatile it was unbelieveable that one singer could sing a nice romantic "Aaja Sohniye Aaja Heeriye" and then simply change to bhangra style suchas "Ni Bhul Tere Phool Diya Patiya".......or feeling patriotic "Ae Dharti Punjab Di"........and just to add that nearly every top wedding song was in the voice of Rafi saab too suchas "Maae Na Wat Poonian-DOLI"........even tear jerkers were sung with full emotions "Mera Bichareya Yaar Mila De".....Punjabi Devotional Songs.......Comedy songs....it's just endless. I guess the majority of people will agree that Mohd Rafi was probably the most versatile singer when it came to hindi films......he also proved that for punjabi films too. One of my favourite Shabad of Mohd Rafi is - Jis Ke Sar Upar Tu Swami Interesting to know from you nice members which is one of your favourite punjabi song in the voice of Mohd Rafi. Here is a little known song of Mohd Rafi ........for a sister's wedding ......from the film Bagga Daku 1978 Sohne Sohne Kapde Te Lal Lal Choodiyan.....Behan Diya Reeja Aaj Karunga Main Pooriya KISI NE KAHA HAI MERE DOSTO

well said.. rafi ji is most versatile singer of punjabi cinema.he was a very humble person by never saying no to low budget punjabi films.. my favourite of his songs are jag wala mela yaro, laiyan te tod nibhavin duet with suman or lata shamshad begum has many beautiful duets with him like teri meri ik jindri,jatt kudiyan to darda mara and tere kanak di rakhi mundya..
