The next Jodi we take up is that of Guru and O P Nayyar, who passed away recently....I reproduce below the write-up that i had posted in another thread on respect to OPN......

There are countless melodies he produced, whether with the horses or without it, including with Guru...but one movie which will always stand out in mind will be Ek Baar Muskura Do....almost all the songs of this movie had very unconventional tunes and music...and they still remain amongst the best of Guru's songs....the music and whole tune of the title song, a duet by Guru and Asha, Ek Baar Muskura Do Aha Ha Aha Ha would still keep me spellbound with goose pimples...it just touches the core of music buds..{Unquote}

Guru with OPN, well not many numbers together but never the less some really memorable songs.

To me following have signature of OPN all over the place.

You talk of prolific male Jodies of Guru, you can't leave out the father and son combo....Kishore Kumar and Amit Kumar....only Rafi, Mahendra Kapoor and Manna Dey have sung more songs with Guru than what this father-son combo sang together....this duo sang 31 songs together which includes 2 songs that were never released...they panned out some memorable songs like Nazar Lage Na Saathiyon, which remains a favourite for many a stage-shows even today....my personal favourite of this duo though is Aati Rahengi Bahharein Jaati Rahengi Bahaarein

You talk of prolific male Jodies of Guru, you can't leave out the father and son combo....Kishore Kumar and Amit Kumar....only Rafi, Mahendra Kapoor and Manna Dey have sung more songs with Guru than what this father-son combo sang together....this duo sang 31 songs together which includes 2 songs that were never released...they panned out some memorable songs like Nazar Lage Na Saathiyon, which remains a favourite for many a stage-shows even today....my personal favourite of this duo though is Aati Rahengi Bahharein Jaati Rahengi Bahaarein
