Another awesome pair!! I don't know how its filmed/ in what order it appears in the movie, but I like listening to the duet first and then the solo, the duet feels like a prelude since its slow.

She was around 12 years old i think, when she sang this one. Earlier when she was around 10, she sang in Hai na bolo bolo with Mohd Rafi and Suman Kalyanpur

She was the daughter of Bhola Shreshtha - an arranger /composer - who worked with some music directors in the 50s and who, if i remember correctly, used to escort Lata Mangeshkar home when it was late in the night, during her early days.

In the 90s, Sushma Shreshta became Poornima - to get away from the 'child singer' tag
