I do not know whether it is the same song Dharmaan has in mind!! Venkat I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

One other very nice song that N.Datta had composed for Rafi Saab in the post-1970 era is the solo from Film:Aag Aur Daag(1971), "Tere Is Pyaar Ka Shukriya, Mere Mehbooba"!! Venkat I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!

Venkat Yes i agree, that is a fantastic track. i will be needing more help in this section, as i will be going through all my Mohd Rafi Sahab compilation casettes which have been gathering dust for the last 15 years, as ive pointed out most of the casettes do not have any info at all, so please do bear with me for the information, but one thing is definite , the quality will be top notch. Thnx |

HT Bhai is a veteran of the web!! BTW, teaching coughing to grand father is a true translation of a Telugu proverb, "Thatha Ku Daggu Nerpatam"!! friends,
Pyar Bana Afsana (1960) is an unreleased Film for which some nice music was composed by the highly talented MD, Iqbal Quereshi! As per Kirat Pal's and others' request, I am uploading here two very nice Rafi-Asha duets. 1. "Pyar Deewna Bane Kyon, Jaane Na, Kaisa Tu Jaane Na, Dil Mera Maane Na"--128 Kbps--03:25 2. "Kaho Ji Tumhe Kis Se Pyaar Hai, Tumhe Kis Se Pyaar Hai"--128 Kbps--03:22 Enjoy, Venkat PS. The leading pair of this unreleased film are Akhthar and Tabassum!! Friends,
Three years back, on Vividhbharati, I had listened to this very rare and very nice Rafi-Asha duet. "Jaane Meri Ankhiyon Ne Dekha Hai Kya, Dekha Hai Kaya, Paani Se Nikla Hai Chand Naya"--Film:Pyar Ki Jeet(1962)--MD:Sudhir Phadke--Rafi & Asha When I requested for this duet on this very thread, one old member had uploaded just a 30-second clip of this song. I am re-uploading the same here. If someone has the full song, can he/she kindly upload it for us? Thanks, Venkat I have changed many views in life since my childhood, but not my view of Rafi Saab as the God-sent Gandharva who visited this Earth briefly to spread ultimate ecstasy among genuine music-lovers!
