In the Rafi database it says that "Mere Yaar Tu" from Love In Canada is composed by Hemant Kumar. Can someone clarify if this is true ?. Its a beautiful song.

Wow, a Hemant Kumar gem in 1979 . By that time most the golden greats from the 50's and 60's had fizzled out of HFM or had passed away. I am not sure if HK was still composing alot in Bengali or doing private albums. Unni ji, you can probably say more on this aspect.

Looking at the album of Paigaam the female vocalist is not named, only states Mohd.Rafi & chorus.

As I've said before I love to spread the voice of rafi saab, especially those rare gems.

PrinceA - I have the full soundtrack to Dil Hi Dil Mein, absolute gems! It has one of my most favourite Rafi songs from the 80's "Bheegi bheegi vaadi mein", once your hear it you wont get enough of it.

Keep an eye on the "Rare Rafi Soundtracks" thread, I will post DHDM songs next. Also thanks for the PM, will respond with details, it wont be long now.
