Thanx Priya for your prompt response....................only post them if they are in good quality/near CDQ........if not then dont worry i'll convert them from my tape into mp3.............i'm still waiting for a reply in the Rafi forum from the Rafians on the same post too.

The songs seem to be in good quality. But not 'cdq'.
I am not clever at these distinctions. No noise or any such problem. Just do not have that digital ring abt them. Ul karoon kya?

what i did is converted 1 song so far and stopped because house duties are calling me........i'm u/ling a 30 sec clip of one i just cleaned..........see what you think for comparison..............thanx for your help i owe you one

just organising my HD....................thought i listen to the Umar qaid songs because i could not remember how they sounded like and this one is a nice one for the girls...............not sure if its popular amongst the Asha fans [not well known amongst Rafi fans] but is real nice......................It is about 90% Asha / Minoo and about 10% by Rafi

heres a few questions for Asha ji fans
I have the following songs on me which i will be listening to later on while in the car driving, they are from the following films.................not sure if they will all be on the tape as there is no song listings

Naag mere saathi 1973..................3 Asha solos.......................... according to ultraindia
Kahin aar kahin paar 1971.............3 Asha solos and 2 duets......... according to ultraindia

I think they are rare...........I'm hoping to find some time over the weekend to convert them..........not sure of sound quality.

Thanx Priya.................just d/led it and the quality is good..............i never heard this one before and it was missing on my Umar Qaid mp3 songs that i hold.................It only came to my attention while i was looking up the name of the singers on the other songs from same film on ultraindia and hence noticing the 5th song which i didn't have.
I was awake upto 4 in the morning yesterday and did Kahin aar kahin paar 1971 and also Mr india 1961 plus a punjabi one too.
