Fully agree with you; Talat-sahab belongs to the pantheon of great singers and fully merits the honour. For that matter, Lala-ji has been honoured with the Bharat Ratna, but doesn't Asha-ji deserve at least a Padma Shri? sad1.gif

As for Manna Dey and Mahendra Kapoor, I guess living persons are not honoured with the issuance of stamps.

Can anyone clarify: was a postage stamp issued in honour of K. L. Saigal?

As far as I know, this track was not issued in the audio-release of the movie "ZINDAGI", and can only be heard in the movie. In the first part, Manna Dey sings without any musical accompaniment, and in the second part Mohd. Rafi and Asha Bhosle sing a prayer in unison:
