BTW purely of academic interest but in one of the versions I think someone converts halka dard to meetha dard in one place!!! tongue.gif All these versions! Velly confoosing. sad1.gif

Some time last year or earlier, Imran had drawn our attention to a lovely Rafi/Suman duet which had virtually gone unheard. Don't remember the song now. But here's another such song, this time a Rafi/Asha duet. The only reason I bought the disc was because it had music by G. S. Kohli, and this one track made it worthwhile. Worthy of an OPN composition. Rafi-sahab's voice sounds very young and romantic.

When you say you bought the disc - did you mean the movie CD or an audio CD?

Yup! That's why I made the reference to OPN. Guess his style being influenced by OPN's was a factor for his lack of success independently.
