I'm uploading about 25 of Jagmohan's best songs. A large number of them are compositions of the great Kamal Das Gupta. I think my two posts on this thread should pretty much cover all his top songs - the only ones I am not uploading are Ye Mana Ke Tumse Na Mil Payenge, Chand Hai Mehmaan Aye Dil, Jal Rahe Armaan (bit rate is low for all three)....
All the songs are mp3 and range from 128-192 kbps with decent to CDQ audio - I can't remember the varied sources! The file name contains the song title. Enjoy! Kind Regards Faraaj This post has been edited by Faraaj73: Dec 7 2008, 05:52 PM Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. Dear Faraajji,
Here are the 3 songs that you mentioned you had but at low bit rates. I hope these complement your collection. They are : Yeh Mana Ke Tumse Na Mil Paayenge Hum Lyricist : ?? Music : ?? 160 kbps 3.22 minutes (The tag on my file mentions the name of Ramesh Pant but whether he was lyricist or MD, I do not know) Chand Hai Mehman Lyricist & MD : Unknown 160kbps 3.13 minutes Jal Rahe Armaan Lyricist and MD : Unknown 160 kbps 2.50 minutes I am using www.downmelodylane.com as my source for the names of lyricist and music director. A list of nonfilmi songs of Sursagar Jagmohan (any many others) can be found at the same source. I have acquired these and many other precious jewels from many sources including this forum, do not have names of original contributors but my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of them. Prabhakar I'm uploading about 25 of Jagmohan's best songs. A large number of them are compositions of the great Kamal Das Gupta. With the addition of the three songs kindly uploaded by Prabhakar Saab, I think Jagmohan's best (and certainly most recognisable) songs are in this thread.
Enjoy! Are these really Jagmohan's songs: meri aashaon ki basti kitna bhi tho bhulaya tumne -Hashmat I think they are sung by Hemant Kumar. Also the second song sounds like "Kithnaa DUKH Bhulaayaa Thumne". Yadavagiri Ji Kamal Dasgupta composed for both Jagmohan and Hemant Kumar. Hearing both songs, I really had a hard time figuring out which of the two it was. I took a conscious view that it was Jagmohan. If it is Hemant (which is certainly possible), he did a fair attempt to sing in the Jagmohan style! I'd like to hear the opinion of 1-2 other members as well - but accept that your view is highly plausible....and thanks for your interest in this thread.... Prabhakar Saab/Sachin Saab Aap bhi kuch bolein??? Kind Regards Faraaj Faraaj Sahab - although I am very bad at recognizing voices - I am just summarising what I feel about the songs mentioned by Shoom Ji. As compared to other Hemant Da's songs the songs mentioned above have each word seamlessly merging in to the next word in a sustained manner - which according to me is not Hemant Da's usual style of giving crisp endings for each word. And Yadvavagiri is right the song "Kitna bhi tho bhulaya tumne..." is actually "Kitna Dukh Bhulaya Tumne...." This post has been edited by vdsachin: Dec 9 2008, 03:41 PM |

I'm really bad with voices too....I've confused Lata and Asha more times than I care to remember!!! Kind Regards Faraaj p.s. I got the Suraiya songs (30 MB!!!) - thanks for that... Correct words of second song are: kitna dukh bhulayaa too ne pyaari Urzung Khan |
