The 1st one is not exactly a solo. There is some participation of Asha Bhosle.

However, thanks a lot for the Asha version of "Pyar Par Bas To Nahin-Sone Ki Chidiya"

I did not have it. Wordings by Sahir Ludhianvi in both the songs are fantastic

Thanks Laxmi for these lovely tandem songs. They are among my favorites. If I remember correctly I must have heard a duet too. Is that so? I have not seen the movie but think that this must so. Is it so and if so do you happen to have it?

lakshmi and sanjkash thank you for great contributions, lovely thread, lakshmi, T-ji started a Tandem Tunes thread once upon a time, was one of my favs, I love tracking these as well....... I would definately put the Arzoo ones together, lakshmi, even though the words are different they are tandems...

You had the female one? And I had looked so many years for a good copy of that one. laugh.gif (I have it now). I was not happy with the version on the solo cassette, lots of static in it vs every other track on the album, I had begun to think the source was damaged, but it was recently re-released on compilations.
Here's the male one (Suresh Wadkar) which I'm partial to, and this one was on the CD, 160kbps. 5:56

And for completeness sake, and in the spirit of this thread, a good copy of the Lata version. 5:49
