While searching on Mahesh's thread on Geeta ji's filmography, there seem to be 2 songs composed by Burmanda for the film Chittor Vijay (1947)

Here is the link

http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?s=&a...st&p=490682

Does any one know what are these 2 songs ? Any one has them ?

TIA

Many Many Thanks for Uploading! wink.gif

For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness.

Samandar ko Baandhe Aisa Koi Ghaat Nahi, Kadmon ko thaame aisi koi baat nahin Patli si dhaara samundar mein milti hai, milkar ke kho jaati hai, ghaat ghaat hi rehte hain woh samundar ho jaati hai, karlo jo chaaho, banlo jo chaaho

“Geet boodhe nahin hote, unke chehron pe jhurriyan nahi girti
wo palte rahte hain, chalte rahte hain
sun-ne walo ki umra badal jaati hai….”

Are these 2 songs sung by Geeta ji for the film Chittor Vijay (1947)

1] Har jabaan par ek naara

2] Ho rangila ho rasila rakhi ka din aaya re

I received this information from Orkut community. I believe the film had Madhubala as the leading star.

I was listening to "Ek roz bichhadnewaalonka" from Kamal (1949) just now. I felt that the tune was identical to the song "Humein chhod piya kis des gaye" from Do Bhai (1947), Burmanda's own composition.

Has anyone noticed this?

Thanks

Waheed bhai

I have no idea about this film or its songs or the release status of the film or songs. I read the above information on one of the Orkut community on a thread on Madhubala.

Requesting help from senior members on this.
