Aasha (1957)

The pair of Vyjayanti Mala and Kishore Kumar was hot after the thundering success of their earlier movie "New Delhi." The music for this movie is beautiful with the song "Inaa Minaa Dikaa" still feels jolly good to hear. The song by Kishore sounds more exuberant, given Kishore's infectious enthusiasm for such songs. But Asha is not too far behind in her rendering of the same song. I had an opportunity to see Ashaji perform this on stage many times, and every time with this song she brings down the entire crowd with wild cheering and incessant enthusiasm.

Now for the details of the songs and songs themselves ...
