A tandem tune. The female version, with the voice of Asha Bhosle, has been uploaded at: http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?act=...575#entry271910

Childhood. Calcutta. Maybe, I heard this song streaming from a radio in some street-side shop. Or on radio at home. To settle on the subconscious. And revived now, re-awakened, decades later, far away in time and distance. Yet another, just another gem, from the golden throat.

Musical memories are made of these.

Unni-Ji,

Thanks for this wonderfull song. In my opinion one of the most difficult songs of Rafi-saab to sing.

I have these two tracks in poor sound quality. If anyone has good recordings, please upload them. Thanks!

1) Duniya Mein Meri Aaj Andhera Hi Andhera - DO BHAI (1947) - S.D. Burman

2) Teri Mehfil Mein Dil Thaamey Tera Diwana Aatha Hai - SHEESHA (1952) - Ghulam Mohd.

If you stop trying to make sense of it all, you'll be less confused. Reality is an illusion.
