Jagdishji,
I have tohfa kabool hai humein--but it is from a songs vcd--the cheap 50 Rs kind. So dunno how good the quality is. Also it is a long song--I will have to compress it quite a bit--chalega?

Well BJ this might be the song that i was looking for. All i remember was that Pankaj Udhas has a diff version of the song. Anyway, this one seems to be a good one too. Aur jahaan tak the other song is concerned, if u cant find it, Priya can u/l it....i can wait for sometime.

Don't think that is the song U mean Jagdishji. I too have the Dharamkanta song. The VN book says this:
Mohe aaye na jag se laaj, main itna zor se naachi aaj...ki ghungroo toot gaye.
Film: Ek Hi Maksad
MD: Pankaj Udhas (also co-singer)
Year: post HF smile1.gif 1988
Lyrics: Mumtaz Rashid

You sure it was by Asha ji ? Ek Hi Maqsad starring Om Puri, Divya Rana...didnt had any Asha ji's number... most of the ghazals in this movies were by Pankaj Udhas.... including chandi jaisa rang hai tera and deewaron se milkar rona , etc.... I have Pankaj Udhas version of Mohe aayi na jag se laaj as well... but thought he requested Asha ji's version which was composed by Naushad ji for Dharam Kanta.....

Yes BJ, I have heard the version by Asha Ji. I have no clue about what movie it is from. I had the Pankaj Udhas version in India and also recollect having heard AshaJi's version once. No worries...what u have posted is also a gem....

I have a different song - don't know if it may be the one you are looking for, but since you mention both Asha and Pankaj versions........
Film: Haar Jeet (1992)
Ghungroo Toot Gaye - one by Asha and one by Pankaj Udhas.
If you were looking for these, I can PM them to you (as the film is from the 90s).

However, the song lyrics are:
Gori Kyon Hai Tu BeKul Tere Ghungroo Toot Gaye To Kya
Nach Ayee Tu Bin Pyal Tere Ghungroo Toot Gaye To Kya

(they are not the same as Mohe Aayee Na Jag Se Laaj....) Also, I have a Salma Agha version of Mohe Aayee Na Jag Se Laaj, Main Itna Zor Se Naachi Aaj Ke Ghungroo Toot Gaye from the film Param Daram (1987) music by Bappi.

Doston, Apna Tau Yeh Imaan Hai
Jo Bhi Jitna Saath De, Ehsaan Hai
Umr Ka Rishta Jodne Waale
Apni Nazar Mein Deewane Hai

Thanks for the memories HF. Bye Bye.
