as an avid fan of kumar sanu's magical voice, it is my pleasure to start this thread

if you wish to sing kumar sanu's songs and share it with the internet community, this is the place to do it

your voice doesn't have to be similar to sanu da's....for eg, my voice is not 1% as good as sanu da's , but i am sharing the following song with you...

not only is it like sanu da's voice, it also has a 'rafi type' touch to it, ie it is quite high pitch, great combo dude

lol, maybe you shuold listen to it and tell me how you find it Yaarmere. im looking forward to this review. and thanks Kurt, appreciate it. i like jaane kaha as well. good to know u also thinks that the song has a classic touch to it. i thought it was an old movie when i first heard it but hen yea....great song. its a bit big, but its the whole song i did many songs, this one is from Hum Tum and babul sapriyo sang it beautifully, although i wish it was a KS song. but still have a listen, i really worked hard on it!!

i hope u don't mind, but ur voice matches babul more than sanu, why don't u try a few more babul songs?

my favs are

-aate aate aa gaaye pas hum,-chori chori, and
-meri tarah tum bhi kabhi- kya yehi pyar hai

i feel that babul is 1% as good as sanu da, but i prefer him over the rest of the singers, at least he doesn't make pop songs out of potential classics!

i would like to share a live recording with you

this is ABHIJEET SAWANT , our indian idol performing 'mohobatein lutaonga' live on the competition

he has a soft romantic voice, and his singing style is clearly influenced by the great KUMAR SANU (the living legend with thousands of clones)


the influence is clear from the very start (hey hey), and is more clear when he sings soft in the start of the antara's. he also has a intense high pitch (with a slight nasal touch ,like sanu da), and ends each note with a nice flow (vintage kumar sanu style)

abhijeet also sang a few KS songs during the competition (to further prove the point )

it makes me proud that the entire nation voted for abhijeet sawant to be the indian idol, which proves that it is still kumar sanu's romantic and intense style of singing that the public still loves and wants (listen to the cheering in the back-ground !!)
