Here is a film Version song by Talat Saheb...-Sunaon kisko afsana.na apna hai na begana..ripped from songs DVD,
this is longer than the cassette, CD or 78 record version and this version only found in the movie. It has extra one initial line before the actual song starts.

Talat keeps this fine balance of sweet anguish & soul-stirring romance prevalent in this song. Asha plays the treacherous and enticing seductress with her interspersed 'Aahaas', putting so much into a song without even uttering an actual word.

Sahir creating magic here? Is it the rustic charm of Nayyar's music? Is it Talat voicing the lyrics perfectly that does the trick? Or just team-effort that makes this song so marvellous?
