According to the vinyl
Doha [Sat sri akal] from film Sat sri akal 1977 is sung by Rafi

but

now listen to the same song from film Gyani ji 1977 also sung by Rafi


Sat sri akal and Gyani ji....................I have both these vinyls
both 1977 films amd both claim to have the same songs
I think Gyani ji must be hindi version and Sat sri akal must be punjabi version

now i will u/l both versions
Doha [sat sri akal] ~ Gyani ji 1977......................definetly Mohd Rafi........as written on cover
Doha [sat sri akal] ~ Sat sri akal 1977.................what do you think is it Rafi.........thats what it says on the cover

I appologize that i dont recognize Rafi's voice in the song..............i think it is a misprint on the vinyl cover

i dunno about you guys but gyangi song is rafi saab no doubt, but the sas sri akal one is NOT rafi saab, this aint rafi saabs voice although in places this chap does sound like rafi saab, listen to the end bit the richness that rafi saabs voice has isnt there.

It got to be a misprint on the cover of Sat sri akal
It sounded a bit strange to me as well
Definetly DOHA from GYANI JI is Rafi

Actually, let me take that back. I did a comparison of some Jaspal Singh songs in Hindi and the voice does not match with the Punjabi song you have. So, this could be Pascal Paul. This is just conjecture.

My mule has no references about his voice other than what you would find on the internet.

I just waana share my rare ones with u all that i think are not available and doubt if they will be available in the near future........................and at the same time keep on buying the ones that get released so the record sales go up
