(Rekha) Soorma Bhopali (1988) Comedian actor Jagdeep reprised his role from the blockbuster "Sholay (1975)" in this film he not only acted in but produced it, wrote its story, directed the film, wrote lyrics for a song, and had lent his voice to four of the six songs. Here are these songs... I am sure the Mohd Rafi song is composed by Naushad. I remember Jaaved Jaffery mentioning it was recorded for another one of Jagdeeps movies however that movie got shelved but he used the song for this movie. Thanks for sharing this information. Cheers. -S |

(Rekha) Qila (1998)
I believe this is the last film Dilip Saab appeared in. He plays a dual role, one aristocratic and bad and the other a law holding judge. There are some good songs in the film. Especially the song "Prem Hai Radha" is very good. I am including an exchange of words between Rekha and Dilp Saab preceding this song that gives a glimpse of the magic of Dilip Saab's artistry in dialogue delivery. Here is this and other fine songs from this album... Attached image(s) |

(Rekha) Mother '98
This was the last film of 20th century that Rekha starred in. We started this thread over three years back. In the last 40 months we covered 160 plus films of Rekha in this thread. This also happens to be the last entry of the “Muse & Music” thread. We covered music of films that starred 12 different muses in the same 40 month time frame. This spanned over 1,100 films altogether. It was a beautiful and exhilarating joy ride. I enjoyed every bit sharing the beautiful music of many of these films. Thank you very much for joining the ride with me. I hope you had as much fun as I did. Now for the songs for this last entry of the thread on Rekha and the final entry of the overall thread “Muse & Music”… Attached image(s) |

There was a female version of Ka Karoon Sajni in the film sung by Sumitra Lahiri and picturised on Preeti Ganguly. Would anyone have that version and upload it please since it seems to have disappeared.
Thanks in advance M (Hema) Swami (1977) Hema along with Dharam made a guest appearance in this film that has fine music by Rajesh Roshan. I am uploading these songs from an original soundtrack album... This post has been edited by arlakm: Sep 26 2013, 08:22 PM |

(Sadhana) Mera Saaya (1966) - Post 1 (Songs)
I am uploading these songs on request... This is another one of my favorite musical albums. A master of melody, Madan Mohanji, composed its melodious music. He was a marvel of a music maker. He created so many beautiful and unforgettable songs over the years. This movie was another feather in his richly adorned cap. Mera Saaya was based on a Marathi film. Raj Khosla, who directed the movie, made three movies in a row with Sadhana with mystery as the central theme. These were "Woh Kaun Thi? (1964)", "Mera Saaya (1966)", and "Anita (1967)". I am uploading songs, music clips, specials, and instrumentals related to this film in four back-to-back posts. The first post contains all the songs from the film. The second post contains several music clips. The third post contains several specials. The final and the fourth post contains instrumentals of the some of the songs from the film. Here is the first set of songs... This post has been edited by swarapriya: Nov 19 2013, 12:01 PM Attached image(s) |

Mera Saaya (1966) - Post 3 (Specials)
This post includes several specials. I am including several snippets (shorter versions of full songs) in this post. This is because full songs are already uploaded in the first post I did not see any point in uploading them in full again. Here are the specials...
