Thanks for this excellent album. How appropriate that you posted this close to Dev Anand's demise as if to honor him!
All of these songs are so expressive of the emotion they are portraying. Lata's songs are so beautiful and so are Manna and Talat's.Onc eagain thanks for this post.

Thanks Nandi.

This is one of my favorite albums of Jaidevji. For some reason or other he never got his proper due. Each song from this album is full of deep feelings. Nyaya Sharma, who also produced the movie, did such a splendid job of writing such pathos-ridden rich lyrics. This one is a real classic. A sparkling gem indeed.

Thanks Abhay. I had a feeling that this was Mubarak Begum. But I wasn't sure. That is why I left a question mark. I will just wait and see if someone else can verify that this is indeed Mubarak Begum.

Here is one of the finest album from Roshan Saab. Every song from this album is an utter delight. They were all chart-busters when the film was initially released. They still continue to give endless enjoyment to the listeners.

It is not just the songs that are great in this film. Its background music also is very beautiful. I am uploading the songs and the music and some specials in three back-to-back posts. The first post contains all the songs from the film. The second post contains several music clips. The dual song "Dil Jo Na Keh Saka" became so popular that it became one of the staple songs of many of the aspiring singers. In the third post I am including several versions of this song.

I am including several version songs of the ever popular "Dil Jo Na Keh Saka" song. Three of these, including an instrumental on the sax by Manohari Singh, are from CDs. The other songs are all from You Tube. Some of these are good and others just fair. Details are given in the table below.
