(Amitabh) Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (1978)

During his hey days, anything Amitabh touched turned into gold. Take as an example this movie. No new ground was broken here. No new trails were blazed. Seems like it was a role Amitabh played many times before. It had all the masala ingredients. Then that chemistry or may be even physics between Rekha and Amitabh that was shamelessly exploited. It was an out and out pleaser with beautiful songs.

(Manoj) Deshwasi (1991)

After his last disaster with "Clerk (1989)", Manoj waited another two years to come out with this movie. Again he assembled a whole bunch of stars and this time went back to LP to compose the music. By this time, Lata, who sang hundreds of hit songs for LP and who was a staple singer for them, had fallen out of favor of LP. Their new singer was Anuradha Paudwal, who really wasn't new. There are only five songs in this album but she sang all of them with only one song being a solo. But for Manoj, his bad luck continued. This movie also didn't fare well with the audience. He made only two movies after this and appeared in only one of them.
