Kal Aaj aur Kal (1971)
This was the last movie Raj Kapoor and Shankar & Jaikishan worked together. After making history together starting with "Barsaat (1949)" with a hit song after hit song, it is hard to understand why they did so. Their last outing, "Mera Naam Joker (1970)", was a critical, creative, and commercial success as far as the music goes. This album also boasts several good songs and one expected that the team will continue to work together. But it wasn't meant to be. One reason may be that both these movies proved to be boxoffice duds and Raj decided to make some changes for his next project , "Bobby (1973)". Well ... This movie starred three generations of Kapoors. The heroine was Babita, wife of Randhir. Randhir who besides acting in it also directd. It is just all in the family ... I am re-uploading songs from this film from an original soundtrack album on request. Here they are ... Attached image(s) |

Khaan Dost (1976)
I am uploading these songs on request. Anand Bakshiji, who was one of our prolific lyricists, came to Bombay hoping to be a singer in the films. Instead he ended up as a lyricist. However, in this album, he wrote a song that he also sang with Kishoreda and Mahendraji. Here are the songs from this album ...
