hi i m lookin for a song from so many years i serched every where but could not find now i saw a link here in this forum for this song but cant get this if any one can help i vil be very thnakful .song is(Saara Din Jaagen To Bejaan Si Ho Jaati Hain Saans Leti Huyi Aankhon Ko Zara Sone do)

Lovely song. I think the lyrics are by Gulzar - or they at least sound very Gulzaresque.
Asha brings out the sense of tiredness while singing the song and still maintaining the
beauty of her voice and the tune.
The record has 2 versions of the song, and the second part is a lorie by a mother to her
son. The subtle difference in emotion in the 2 versions is superb. While the lorie is a bit
more playful when it starts out, in the second version, Asha brings out the sense of tiredness
while singing the song and still maintaining the beauty of her voice and the tune.
Lovely composition by Jagjit Singh. And of course phrases like "saaNs leti hui aaNkhoN ko
zara sone do" are hallmark Gulzar-like phrases.
