I am so happy to see this thread you have started,Swarpriya Ji for Jaidev. I have been desperately searching for very many of his songs from Kinare Kinare, Chand Grahan....I do have songs from Gaman, Reshma Aur Shera....I am reviewing the songs that are already uploaded. I will upload the others that are not here... A great music director.... Thank you again
Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water. - Albert Schweitzer Without music life would be a mistake - Friedrich Nietzsche Where words fail, music speaks - Hans Christian Anderson Music is spiritual. thank you again Ek Hans Ka Joda (1975) Here is another album by Jaidevji that has only few songs. There are five songs in this movie but my album had only four of them. The missing song is shown in red italics in the table below. The solo by Kishoreda is a famous one, "Saathi Milte Hain." Also, Ashaji's song "Mere Dil Mein" is a nice one. Now for a description of the songs and songs themselves ... Do Boond Paani (1971) I am re-uploading these songs on request. All these songs came from various sources including CD collections and Forum members. Here is a note on "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-3". It is a juxtaposition of two songs intermixed with 1 min 48 secs of dialogue. The qauality is good. I separated these two songs and listed them separately. The first portion is the song "Jaa Ri Pawaniya-2". The second portion is the song "Peetal Ki Mori-2" by Asha Bhosle and Parveen Sultana. This song came from a CD. If you don't care for the dialogue, don't need to download this. The song portions are repeated in other songs. Also another note. Noor Jehan who is a cosinger of the song "Apne Watan" is not the famous Noor Jehan. Now for a description of the songs and the songs themselves ... thakssssss a ton.... so very kind of u... regards neeraj |

Swarapriya, et al: Would it be possible for you to repost ALL the songs/albums from Jaidev in the respective sections? Thanks!!! This thread took months and months of effort to develop and evolve. It is just about not possible to honor your request because it takes a lot of time and effort on an uploader's part. However, you can request for one album at a time giving a little gap between requests, then that can be easily catered for. Cheers, Swarapriya |

I am re-uploading this beautiful Jaidev album on request. Most of these songs came from a CD. Couple of them are by the courtesy of the Forum members. Because of the number of songs, I am uploading them in back-to-back posts. Also, I am missing a song shown in red italics in the table below. Please share this if you can. Now for the first set of songs ... Attached image(s) |
