Geeta Dutt Songs That Took The Hit

The lovely Geeta Dutt solo "Mere humnasheen mere humanawaa" from the film Bhool Na Jana also can be listed here. As per this post by Mahesh, the film was never released

The composer of the song is Daan Singh and the lyrics are by Hariram Acharya.

The tags of the geeta song Chale Aa Rahe Hain uploaded here from Ladaki(1950s) mentions it as unreleased.

Is it different from the movie Ladki(1953) which had Dhaniram's music?

Would like some information about the movie Ladaki and its songs?

I read somewhere that the film version of More Balma O More Sajna in Rangeen Raaten was a Lata solo, but the 78 rpm record version was a Lata-Geeta duet. Can somebody confirm this? It would be great if someone can upload the duet version of this lovely song.

Geeta Dutt had recorded atleast one song for the film "Meri Kahaani"
in Sept 1965. The producers were Manoranjan Chitra. Lyricist was
Saahir.

I guess that the movie and the music remained unreleased. Any further
info ?

The wording of the song on the records is as follows:

Mausam bada rangeela
dil bhi toh hain nasheela
aise mein aaj koi chhed chhad
koi pyaar wyaar kar lo

The song in the film has these wordings:

Mausam bada rangeela
dil bhi toh hain nasheela
aise mein aaj koi dil ke saath
kuchh baat waat kar lo

This change must be done due to censor's intervention! Thank God they did not delete the song!

yes very interesting case of censors affecting the song.
Geeta ji songs seem to have had quite a few censor issues!
