Sachin,

Talat used to sing in Kolkatta under the name of Tapan Kumar before moving to Mumbai. My understanding is that he might have sung this song too under the same name. Even though I have not seen Sampatti, I feel that this name has nothing to do with the character in the movie.

I really do not remember the source from where I got this song. But this tagging is continuing from the same source.
