Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963)

Lyricist(s) - Qamar Jalalabadi & Gyan Chand Dhawan

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Ae Maa Meri Yaadon Ko - Mohd.Rafi

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Chad Ke Sooli (part i) - Purshottam Das Jalota

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Chad Ke Sooli (part ii) - Purshottam Das Jalota

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Chad Ke Sooli (part iii) - Purshottam Das Jalota

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Hain Abhi Aur Ae Dil Tere Imtehaan - Mohd.Rafi & Chorus

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Mera Rang De Basanti Chola - Mohd.Rafi & Chorus

Shaheed Bhagat Singh (1963) - Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna - Mohd.Rafi & Chorus

Enjoy! smile.gif

My sincere thanks, Anupama Ji, for the two Rafi songs that I didn't have earlier: 1. Hai Abhi Aur Ae Dil Tere Imtehan and 2. Mera Rang De Basanti Chola.

I simply loved the moving first one, "Hai Abhi Aur Ae Dil Tere Imtehan". mellow.gif

Exon, you have not left anything more to 'sort out'! smile.gif I mean you have sorted them out yourself.

Incidentally, the ever-green patriotical, "Sarfaroshi Ki Tamanna" was best and also most sung by Rafi Saab. Three Rafi versions in the above three movies!

Are there any more Rafi versions of this song? Friends, please enlighten.

I've SARFAROSHI KI TAMANNA & AAKAASH KE AANCHAL from SHAHEED-E-AAZAM (LACHCHHIRAM) and all songs from SHAHEED (1965), except PAGDI SAMBHAL JATTA!

If anyone need, I can upload and I request PAGDI SAMBHAL JATTA from SHAHEED (1965) and balance songs from SHAHEED-E-AAZAM (LACHCHHIRAM) smile.gif

Janwar (1965)

Here is another Shammi starrer with the music of Shankar & Jaikishan. Again, all the songs were very popular when the movie was released. Especially, all three solos by Rafi Saab are excellent. There is also a song ("Dekho Ab To") as a tribute to Beatles who visited India when this movie was in production. I am also uploading several extended versions of these songs. The original songs are from CD whereas the extended versions are from DVD.

Here are details of the regular version songs ...

Venkat,

Thanks for confirming the songs.
Some of the songs, especially 'ae ma meri yaadon ko', I get the feeling that the song might have been recorded much earlier than 1963. This was the reason for my doubt.

You are right, Exon. I do not remember when exactly, but when I first d/led some of the Rafi songs from Shaheed Bhagat Singh-1963 and heard them, I immediately posted that these songs did not appear to be of 1963. The obvious reason: The voice of Rafi Saab in those songs belonged to the mid/late fifties. The other supporting reason: HB were not much in business in 1963.

Here is another Shammi Kapoor starrer with the music of Shankar & Jaikishan. As usually is the case with Shammi's movies, Rafi's songs dominate. Again, almost all the songs were very popular. I am uploading all the songs from a CD. Here are the details ...
