Beqarar dil is tarah mile.. Jis tarah kabhi hum juda na the.. Tum bhi khogaye...Hum bhi Khogaye.. Ek Raah par chal ke do kadam.. Waqt ne kiya kya haseen sitm... Tum rahe na Tum...Hum rahe na Hum.. Here is an excerpt from RMIM about this divine song : One of the most complete songs till date. Beautiful Lyrics by Kaifi Azmi ji, Excellent composition by S D Burman, Superb Picturisation by Guru Dutt and to top it all, the magical voice of Geeta Dutt. The song leaves one with an unparalleled Heavy Impact. (The Most Bhaaaari Song). A favourite of many! Big B's favourite most too! Attached image(s) Please visit www.geetadutt.com

Jaane kya tune kahin... A pic taken on the set of the film Gauri, launched by Guru Dutt with Geeta as the singing heroine. The film was unfortunately shelved in few weeks from the date of launching. Attached image(s) Please visit www.geetadutt.com

Parag, I can't wait for it to be 23rd of November. You've done an astonishingly admirable job by following your dream to give it a shape of reality. Like Geetaji's voice that touched and enthralled millions of music lovers, your efforts to bring her work to the forefront of visibility also already have touched hearts of many and will continue to enthrall in years to come. You may be the No. 1 fan of Geetaji, but your perseverance and dedication made me your No. 1 fan. It will be your day, your time, your hour. Savor every moment of it. Enjoy every minute of it. I have a ticket to the front row seat for this Grand Opening and will be wildly cheering for you. Swarapriya Swarapriya These encouraging words coming from a genuine music lover like you mean a lot to the team who has dedicatedly worked for last several weeks to make this "dream" into a "reality". On the behalf of the team, I thank HF for giving us the opportunity to pay this small tribute to the legendary singer Geeta ji. We will look forward to your constructive comments and feedback on the site once it is launched. Best Regards Parag Please visit www.geetadutt.com

Even this song you have quoted above is sung by Asha ji and not Geeta ji. This is what happens when i keep hours like you for just one day !! After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Parag Thanks Parag. I just opened another thread there for this announcement with the radio timings. Thanks FP for spreading the word around. The timing of this radio program is the best possible timing considering listeners from the Indian sub-continent and US. Its odd time only for Australia. We used the same timings in 2006. Parag..Would be there without fail.
It would be wonderful if you can give a short commentary about your feelings as you go about playing those memorable songs.. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

My voice interrupting between those divine songs.... I wouldnt call that interruption Parag.. every song brings in memories of those capsules of our life which are long since relegated to vaults deep inside our psyche. It is these memories that makes them more memorable..I still remember those nights when we sat enthralled hearing to unknown people talking out..on those Chaaya geet programs. Go at it ! After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.
